CES - the world's largest annual technology show - which is owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association is the global platform where next-generation innovations are presented to the world. It has been the proving ground for breakthrough innovations for the last 50 years. CES showcases over 4400 exhibiting companies and their conference programme attracts over 180,000 attendees.
Every year the CES gives out awards to innovations that set themselves apart. The CES Innovation Honoree Awards are given to those products or technologies that perform above a certain standard in a set of categories. In 2018, this award was given to only 31 products.
In 2019 Ledger was honoured with the CES Innovation Honoree Award for their state of the art hardware wallet Ledger Nano X in the Cybersecurity and Personal Privacy product category. The hardware wallet combines the security of a Secure Element and a custom operating system with the ease-of-use and flexibility that Bluetooth brings.
Currently there is no hardware wallet in the market to rival the Ledger Nano X.
